Ezekiel 37:1-15
This is not the time or the season for a child of God to be stuck in confusion and redundancy. It is not the time for them to be stuck in what could have been; instead, they must do whatever is necessary for God to make the impossible possible. A child of God must rise to the occasion and do great exploits in Jesus Christ’s name. Why? Because we were created to multiply and subdue the earth, that means you and I must stand firm and walk with a victorious state of mind.
Psalms 24:1-2
“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the floods.”
The easiest thing that an ordinary person can do is to take everything easy. (Just let life take its course). The ordinary person would say why should I believe in what I can’t see, hear, and feel when it is much easier for me to believe in what I can see, hear and feel? But if they remain in this frame of mind, it will only lead them to a place where destiny is unfulfilled; pains become a reality, despair submerges them, and heartaches frustrate them.
Only the truth in God’s word has the power to elevate a man from the ordinary to the extraordinary. From the natural to the supernatural. Please note that when troubles continue long, hopes have been most often frustrated, and all human confidence can fail. Misery and redundancy are always seeking a place to reside, but a child of God should never accommodate anything that smells like misery and redundancy; they should shut them down and trust Jesus.
Here we can see in this passage that Ezekiel had a vision of Judah and Israel in a state of death and dryness. Not only were they figuratively dead, but they even had lost everything that would classify them as human because their physical, skeletal, and structural form was in disarray.
The scriptures say all Ezekiel saw were bones, not only bones but dry bones. That means that these bones had been in this hot and dry state exposed to the sun and wind until they became putrefied. The flesh was eaten off the bones, and the skeletons were disjointed from one another and scattered over the valley. It was impossible to identify one person’s bones from another. This valley was a place of death, confusion, and despair. This valley was where dreams, hopes, and destiny are crushed. But thanks to the Lord who has the power to restore hopes, dreams, and destiny. The Lord told Ezekiel to prophesy to these bones. God’s words have the power to bring resurrection life to any dead situation.
Exodus14:14-15
“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:”
It doesn’t matter the bad things that have happened to you in life, don’t remain there for the rest of your life, crying about the past but take down your tent and move forward. If the Children of Israel had not moved forward when Moses told them, they would not have passed through the Red Sea, and the Egyptians would have either recaptured or killed them.
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
The Lord is saying that you should arise and move forward. That is the only way you can move from where you are to where God orchestrated for you to be.
It is the only way you will receive the peace and the joy of God.
It is the only way you will be healed from your sickness.
It is the only way to move from death to life.
It is the way to move from defeat to victory.
It is the only to move from worldly chaos to a Godly order.
It is the way to get true riches without any sorrow added to it.
If Ezekiel didn’t speak to these dry bones, they would have remained in that state of dryness.
A state of death and barrenness will swallow alive any Christian who does not move forward when the word of God is spoken over his/her life. If Lazarus had not gotten up and moved forward when Jesus called him from death, he would still be in that state.
If Abraham did not arise and moved forward when he was called out of Chaldea to the land of Canaan, he wouldn’t have been known as the father of All nations.
If Zacchaeus didn’t come down from the sycamore tree when Jesus called him to come down, he wouldn’t have gotten to meet and eat with the savior of the world.
God can restore everything you have lost.
He is able and willing to restore your dreams
Your Godly desires
Your hope in him
Your joy in him
Your peace in him
Your family
Your money
Your health
Your sanity
He can take you from barrenness to fruitfulness
He can take you from dryness to the spring of living water.
Listen to these promises that are due to happen in your life.
Isaiah 54:17
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”
Matthew 16:19
“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
The Lord has made access and is ready to give you everything that pertained unto Godliness. The question is, are you ready to receive what the Lord had prepared?
This is the season for your restoration. As you take the step of faith to trust the Lord as your way maker, he will cause everything that the enemy had stolen from you to return. You can and will recover all in Jesus Christ’s name because this is the season for you to recover all that was lost or had gotten stolen.
