John 15:1-5
‘ I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. ‘
Matthew 5:6
‘ Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. ‘
Receiving from God is not complex neither should it be.
Receiving from God will also seem difficult to the natural man because the natural man works to receive from God’s spirit through the portal of their flesh.
Roman 8:9
‘But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ‘
Getting activated in the supernatural is about you plugging into the frequency of God’s spirit by the order of the spirit and not by the order of the flesh. Let’s look at three ways in which fleshly or natural orders operate.
- The fleshly order forces a person to do everything to please the flesh on his carnal nature.
- The fleshly order compels a person to navigate his life by the order of the temporal and not by order of the eternal
- The fleshly order operates in a way to prevent a person from becoming conscious of his spiritual reality, yet at the same time, it holds him captive to his natural reality.
- The fleshly order operates based on the five physical senses, but it has perception or understanding of the divine revelation or divine insight.
So, what is a God order?
Let us look at 4 things a person must do to activate the God order
What you must know is that the God order is already in each person, but it only needs to be activated.
- Dying to self –
(Matthew 16:24)
‘Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. ‘
God will never empower the fleshly nature of a man, yet he specializes in Empowering the spiritual consciousness of his sons and daughters.
Whatever source you are plugged into will dictate what is fed into your spirit.
When the television is plugged into the electric socket, the person who plugged it in will never expect to receive water out of that socket, but they believe it to receive electricity.
When a water hose is connected to the water main, there is no way a person can expect to get electricity.
(A)Say after me, I can only receive from what I am connected to.
(B) Say this also, I will never receive from what I am not connected to.
You can always expect to get a divine ignition in your inner man once you are connected to the divine igniter.
The Lord will only give you what is of himself and nothing else.
The devil can only give you what is of himself and nothing else.
The Lord is not confused about what he does or how he does it, but he functions and operates by spiritual frequency and divine order.
The Lord will never empower you without first delivering you from what is holding you captive.
The Lord will not ordain you for service without first calling you.
The Lord will never anoint you with power without first sanctifying you.
The Lord will not promote a person without first taking them through the process to activate their inner man for that promotion.
- Have the faith to believe that Jesus already did for you everything that is written in scripture.
A believer will never be able to tap into the supernatural to receive from God without first believing that Jesus came and prepared the true feast for him to eat from.
John 7:37-38
‘In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. ‘
Hebrews 11:6
‘But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. ‘
James 1:6-8
‘But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. ‘
- Out of your mouth, keep proclaiming the word and the praise of God continually.
Mark 11:23-24
‘For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. ‘
Jesus had made us free to magnify and glory his Holy name
wherein we are freed from the yoke of the ceremonial law and the curse of the moral law
Jesus has discharged us from the obligation of the carnal ordinances which were imposed on the Jews
We have to stand fast in the liberty wherein Christ Jesus had made you free
The Lord requires us to always bear fruits. He doesn’t want us to bear the fruit of the world, but He requires us to bear a special kind of fruit that must be nourished and protected by the Holy Spirit.
To get a fruit you will need a tree and to get a tree you will need a seed and to get that seed to germinate you will need fertile soil.
A tree is better recognized by the kind of fruit it bears.
As the scripture says in Genesis 1:12 that the seed of each plant produces after its kind. So no same tree produces two different kinds of fruits.
Even if a farmer in-grafted a mango he can never get it to bear oranges why? because an orange tree is not of the same species as a mango tree
In this passage, we get to understand that the fruit that a child of God should bear or possess should be of the offspring of the Holy Spirit and these fruits must carry His DNA.
This means that the fruits of the Holy Spirit cannot come from no other source but through the Holy Spirit himself.
Who is the Holy Spirit and what kind of fruits does he cultivate within the spirit of man
What are the stages that lead to the production of the fruits of the spirit?
1. First, you should know that God the father is the one who sows the seed (His Word which became flesh and manifests among us) into the soil (which is the Earth) which eventually grows into a fruitful vine.
2. The Holy Spirit is the one who takes nourishment from the root of the tree, through the vine of that same tree, to its branches (the believers) and this is done so that the branches can bear and remain fruitful.
Without having the capability to receive from and produce the fruits of the Holy Spirit a branch will always remain fruitless
Even within the natural, any tree that cannot receive and produce is either dead or is on the verge of dying
- Walk with a conscious reality as if it has been done already, even if you don’t yet see the manifestation of it in the natural.
