The greatest virtue that God gave to mankind is love; every single person’s greatest desire is to be loved. It is what many crave and even die for. A person will leave from one section of the world to another just in search of love. According to Wikipedia, “Love is a much more potent sentiment than a simple liking for a person. Unrequited love refers to these feeling of love that is not reciprocated.”
Even the baby in the womb needs and reacts to love. As soon as a child is born, it seeks and yearns for love. The need for love causes people to do crazy things. Love gives life and sustenance to even the dying soul, and it brings joy to a sorrowful and neglected child. The truth is that love is the source of all existence; without love, we wouldn’t be here in the first place. When mankind was created, God gave him a desire for love and curiosity to search or want to discover things. It is only by seeking something that a child learns, and grows in knowledge and confidence. Love is the component that gives that child confidence.
As long as a child gets love and attention common, he or she will try new things because they know that a mother, father, or guardian will protect them. But when love is missing, that child will not grow because fear has replaced love and fear causes torment. Fear will lock a child or even an adult in isolation, but only love can bring the freedom to move about in peace and contentment.
This is what happened when man fell from grace. He lost all fellowship and communion with love. (Because God is love 1 John 4:8 ). Not being in fellowship with God is the same as losing the true essence of perfect love. And soon as that happens, the devil will step into blind our eyes and whisper lies in our ears because he (Satan) wants to corrupt your mindset and disconnect you from the Creator of all existence (love).
The Lord Jesus is the only one who can love and protect us so that we will have the confidence to seek and discover ourselves in Him; which will enable us with a spiritual hormone to grow and strive in God’s Spirit. Disconnection from God caused humanity to go backward instead of forward; humanity was hardwired to grow spiritually, but love was the source of that growth. After losing love, mankind went on a self-search, trying to gain knowledge, and grow spiritually, but it was no longer pure nor of God.
After humanity fell from grace, they went down a spiral web no longer worshiping or seeking the one and true God but went in search of the dark side where the devil presides. Man’s fleshly nature and the devil’s deception had caused mankind to seek out the occult, the palm reader, and the witch doctor; to indulge in a promiscuous relationship even when he knows these practices are unhealthy for the spirit. All we need are acceptance and love. But the practices are not from God.
The love of God has no bounds; it can pick you up and turn your life in 360 degrees. In the presence of true love (God), there is peace, joy, happiness, tranquility, contentment and, most of all, total protection. I guess you might be asking yourself where and how you can receive this love; it’s my pleasure to point you in the right direction. All you need to do is to accept the gift that God has given to you: the gift of His only begotten Son to die in your stead. Just believe and have the faith in his death and resurrection, which has broken all barriers that bound and paralyzed you spiritually. These steps are most vital to start your journey to recover and attain your God-given destiny. Having experienced God’s love and goodness, I can assure you that if you make these steps, the Lord will give you an experience in Him that will have you in awe. You won’t see things as you once did, but will look at things with a God-given insight. You will not cry and stress about vain things anymore but will smile at your storm.
God’s love will cause you to recognize who you are in Christ, but the fear that comes from the enemy only causes you to recognize yourself according to your fleshly nature. And this fear will rob you of the love of God plus, in the first place, fear is the absence of God’s presence (2 Timothy 1:7 ). As long as there are fear and doubts in your life, you won’t be able to receive God’s gift of love. Let’s replace that fear and doubt with God’s love; don’t let it rob you of your blessing and the promise of God. You have so much to gain, but the devil’s plan for your life is for you to lose it all; yes, you heard me right. Just as God has a plan for your life, the devil also has a plan for your life, and I can assure you that it is not good but evil.
You have to skipped over the enemy’s plan and attached yourself to God’s plan and allowed him to reprogram your mindset and lead you into all truth. Once you receive God’s love in faith, He will cause you to excel spiritually in Him. I pray the Holy Spirit will illuminate them as you read, so that you will understand God’s love, walk in it, allow it to change you spiritually, making you an extension of God’s love to others.
