When a believer is spiritually aligned, he has leverage over his enemy. When a believer is spiritually aligned, he receives special access to the secrets of God. When a Believer is spiritually aligned, he receives kingdom privileges that the world does not have.
John 15:1-8
‘ I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. ‘
Here we see Jesus sharing the truth about how the kingdom of heaven functions. He was teaching his disciples the importance of them being spiritually aligned, which would enable them to bear witness of him on the earth.
You need to know that the Kingdom of God has rules, subjects, laws, and a mandate to establish the will of God in heaven and on earth. Jesus gave this illustration using earthly analogy to make the point that God requires that his followers develop and practice kingdom principles and discipline.
No one can walk in their divine destiny by sheer luck or some form of magic, but they must be aligned spiritually by the spirit of God. You cannot walk in your heavenly power without a continuance of your tapping into the power source (which is God himself).
What do I mean by this?
Let me say it in another way: for a fish to continue to stay alive, it must be placed in water. For a television to be able to function as it should, it needs to be plugged into an electric power source. Let me use another example: rain cannot fall upon the earth if there is no cloud from it to fall from.
Jesus said to his disciples that a tree cannot bear fruits without being connected to the vine. It is only when a tree is planted and becomes one with the earth in which it is planted only then will it has the potential to grow and strive. The church of God cannot operate in its spiritual power without being connected to its power source.
Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. We cannot grow or strive spiritually without being connected and receiving from the life force of Jesus Christ alone. And God the Father is the husbandman who watches over and ensures that everything is as he wills it.
So, Jesus was saying here that for a man to be able to live according to the will of God, he must be connected and feed off the Spirit of God.
Can I ask you these questions?
Why did Jesus come to the earth?
What is it about you and me that it would warrant God the king of glory to leave his throne in heaven to come to this earth as the son of man to save us?
John 3:16-17
‘ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. ‘
Ephesians 4:4-6
‘There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. ‘
The Lord created the world and everything in it for all existence to look to and depend on him for the subsistence of life.
The church of God cannot operate in spiritual power without being connected to its power source.
For the believer in Jesus Christ to be able to live according to the will of God, he must be connected and feed off the Spirit of God.
How does the believer get connected? They get connected through the placenta of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus came to the earth to accomplish the purpose of building a bridge so that children of God could be reconnected to the life force of the spirit.
Who is the life force of the Spirit? God the father.
And through what source does the Lord transmit the frequency and nature of alignment to his believers? He does it through the perfected work of the Holy Spirit.
John 14:26
‘ But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. ‘
Why did the Lord put in place all these laws, rules, and spiritual protocols? He did it so that you and I would engage them to be spiritually aligned in order to coexist with him.
Ephesians 4:1-6
‘I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. ‘
The Lord wants his sons and daughters to be one as He is one.
Deuteronomy 6:4-6
‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: ‘
Seek and stay in the place where the Lord resides.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Only in a heavenly soil can the fruit of spirit grow and be natured
Psalms 91:1-2
‘He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. ‘
So, we have to be aligned and stay aligned with Jesus Christ. He will give us the grace to do great exploits.
