Without Godly character, divine purpose and destiny will get terminated.

These blog articles are for Christian or non-christian who wants a deeper understanding and insight about the kingdom of God. I believe these inspired articles will shift your thinking and cultivate your spirit to know and understand your role and purpose on this earth.

Romans 5:1-4

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Everyone was born with a purpose and a destiny that can only be fulfilled on this earth. But without them having Godly character this purpose and destiny will either be terminated or self-sabotaged.
Sin is what causes the conflict between us and God, it creates not only strangeness and difficulty, but an enmity; the holy and righteous God cannot honour and be at peace with us while sin continues, and men are under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace.

The inherent gifts of the Lord can place a man before kings but it takes Godly character to keep him there.
A gifted man can be easily recognized but his character can only be seen after it has been brought to light by the test and pressures of life.

Proverbs 18:16
“A man’s gift maketh room for him, And bringeth him before great men.”

The truth is that character is what will keep a man safe and upright in a position where his gift has made room for him.
I will say to you that it doesn’t matter what places a person in an influential position (if it is charisma, his friend, his education, his gift, his talents, or his money) without character he will not be able to maintain that status. Because when the test of life happens, without having character he will succumb to the pressure. Let me put it another way
Character is more important than a person’s talent.
Character is more important than a person’s influence
Character is more important than a title
Character is more important than money
Character is more important than gifting
A gift might take a man to the top but it takes character to keep him there.

Character is what makes a person who he is and who will become. Many world leaders are trying to lead without character in doing this they have made a mess and have caused shame and embarrassment to their country and families.
It doesn’t matter how influential a man is if he has no character he will not last long because his bad character will tear down everything he builds.
And even though a man might take 40 years to build his legacy yet it can be destroyed in 10 seconds because of his bad character.
A person can either have good character or bad character and the one he embraces will speak of who he will become.
Having character with the anointing of God will build you but having the anointing without character will destroy you.
Your character is what keeps you safe from the tests of life.

What makes a great leader?
1. he must have a purpose
2. he must have a conviction
3. he must have a vision
4. he must have a passion
5. he must be able to inspire others
6. he must be able to influence others
7. But most importantly he must have good (Godly) character
That means as a child of God you need to have principles, values, morals, and ethics. You have to stand for something or you will fall for anything
A man without integrity and conviction will fall for anything.
A man without conscience will be self-absorbed and will succumb to evil intentions
If you don’t have any principles and values you will become a compromiser, who will fall for anything.
Whatever you do in this life will not only affect you but will also have an impact on those around you.
I will ask you these questions
What are your values?
1. What values do you place on your marriage?
2. What values do your place on your family?
3. What values do your place on purpose and destiny?
4. What values do you place on your being holy and righteous?
5. What values do you place on your faith and hope in God?
6. What values do you place on your spiritual life?
7. What values do you place on purpose and vision
The values you place on these things will let you know the state of your character; if it is good and bad

Proverbs 23:7
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; But his heart is not with thee.”

So your character is not outside of who you are but it is what is inside of you. That means your character is who you are
It doesn’t matter how gifted or influential a person is if he/she is a thief or liar they will not get far because those bad characteristics will derail their train.

It Doesn’t matter how handsome or rich a man might be, if he is dishonest, untrustworthy, and selfish no one will want to be in a relationship with him.
Let me tell you how to change your character if your character is not good.
1. Change the way you think

2. Change the way how you value yourself and

3. Change the way how you value the word of the Lord

Listen to what is written in the scriptures

Psalms 119:9-11
“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, That I might not sin against thee.”

Romans 12:2
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

2. Change the way you value people

Proverbs 6:16-19
“These six things doth the LORD hate: Yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, Feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren.”

Jesus had made us free to magnify and glory his Holy name
wherein we are freed from the yoke of the ceremonial law and the curse of the moral law
Jesus has discharged us from the obligation of the carnal ordinances which were imposed on the Jews
We have to stand fast in liberty wherein Christ Jesus had made you free

The Lord requires us to always bear fruits. He doesn’t want us to bear the fruit of the world, but He requires us to bear a special kind of fruit that must be nourished and protected by the Holy Spirit.

To get fruit you will need a tree and to get a tree you will need a seed and to get that seed to germinate you will need fertile soil.

A tree is better recognized by the kind of fruit it bears.
As the scripture says in Genesis 1:12 that the seed of each plant produces after its kind. So no same tree produces two different kinds of fruits.
Even if a farmer in-grafted a mango he can never get it to bear oranges why? because an orange tree is not of the same species as a mango tree

In this passage, we get to understand that the fruit that a child of God should bear or possess should be of the offspring of the Holy Spirit and these fruits must carry His DNA.
This means that the fruits of the Holy Spirit cannot come from no other source but through the Holy Spirit himself.

Who is the Holy Spirit and what kind of fruits does he cultivate within the spirit of man

What are the stages that lead to the production of the fruits of the spirit?
1. First, you should know that God the father is the one who sows the seed (His Word which became flesh and manifests among us) into the soil (which is the Earth) which eventually grows into a fruitful vine.

2. The Holy Spirit is the one who takes nourishment from the root of the tree, through the vine of that same tree, to its branches (the believers) and this is done so that the branches can bear and remain fruitful.

Without having the capability to receive from and produce the fruits of the Holy Spirit a branch will always remain fruitless. Even within the natural, any tree that cannot receive and produce is either dead or on the verge of dying.

So, the conclusion is that the Lord requires us to have Godly character; a character trait that will build us up and not tear us down. You need to do an introspection within yourself to know your character trait and if it is good or bad. Because if you don’t work on fixing your bad character it will eventually destroy your destiny.

And remember that without Godly character, his purpose and destiny for you will get terminated.
